Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting in Pottstown, PA. This contract position offers a chance to contribute valuable psychological services that enhance student well-being and academic success throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support learning and behavioral goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute data-driven recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and comply with confidentiality and ethical standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Appropriate state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention techniques, and legal regulations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
